Shifts: 12-hour shifts; 7A-7P or 7P-7A


Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in MedSurg/Telemetry for a travel assignment in Macon, GA. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic teaching hospital environment with a Level 1 Trauma Designation and contribute to a team focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• Provide care for post/pre cardiac and step-down ICU patients
• Manage patients with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, STEMI, NSTEMI, and SEPSIS
• Utilize strong clinical assessment and med-surg nursing skills in a trauma hospital setting
• Perform trach care, chest tube management, and PIV starts
• Execute insulin and heparin drips, excluding blood pressure drips
• Conduct IV insertion, central line management, and wound care
• Interpret telemetry and cardiac monitoring
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
• Plan discharge and provide patient education, focusing on renal and fluid management

Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm) required, including EKG Rhythm exam during onboarding
• Medical-surgical certification preferred but not required
• A minimum of 2 years Med/Tele RN experience
