Position Overview As a Product Manager in our Business Strategy team, you will be embedded with a global CPG client’s regional analytics division. You will be the critical bridge between their business and technical teams, responsible for understanding business needs, identifying impactful use cases, and translating requests into technical requirements. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, deep domain knowledge, and exceptional stakeholder management to guide our client\'s analytics product strategy. Key Responsibilities – Initial Focus Strategy & Use Case Proposals: Partner with regional business leads to understand analytics goals and translate their needs into actionable data & analytics use case proposals. Feasibility & Impact Assessment: Coordinate across business and technical teams to assess the business impact, technical feasibility, and level of effort for proposed initiatives. Roadmap Development: Create a short-term roadmap that balances quick-win, business-driven use cases with the foundational engineering needed to future-proof development. Ongoing Responsibilities Business & Technical Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact and communication bridge between business stakeholders and the development team. Product Strategy: Guide decision-making for the region\'s analytics product strategy via workshops, interviews, and a deep understanding of their business process. Voice of the Customer: Represent the business stakeholders\' priorities, needs, and expectations to the development team. Voice of the Developers: Represent the development team\'s recommendations, feasibility, and capacity back to the business stakeholders. Feature Definition: Define feature-level requirements to deliver value in increments, partnering with development teams to break them into tangible work items. Process Improvement: Coordinate with global teams to identify and implement ways of working improvements, including intake management, communication channels, training, and feedback loops. Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in business consulting, data strategy, or technical product management. Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of CPG & Retail industry challenges, key business processes, and data-driven use cases. Product Management: Demonstrable experience creating and managing product roadmaps, defining features, and managing a backlog for a technical/data product. Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and consensus between senior business leaders and technical teams. Technical Translation: A strategic thinker with the ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements (and vice versa). Analytical Mindset: A strong analytical mindset with the ability to see both the unique market needs and opportunities for global scalability.
