Help Keep Cole's Flea Market Looking Its BestCole's Flea Market, Pearland's premier shopping and entertainment destination, is looking for a dependable and experienced Painter/Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance and Site Services team.This hands-on position is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys a variety of projects, and can work independently to help maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-kept property.Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.What You'll DoPrepare drywall, wood, metal, and other surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, and priming.Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and airless spray equipment.Mix and match paint colors, finishes, and textures.Protect floors, fixtures, windows, and surrounding areas before beginning work.Complete painting, touch-ups, and general upkeep throughout buildings, food stands, offices, warehouses, seller spaces, carts, rides, and fencing.Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general maintenance projects.Safely operate hand and power tools, pressure washers, ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts.Track work orders, log hours, and communicate project updates.Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment and disposal of hazardous materials.Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.What We're Looking ForMust be at least 18 years old.Four years of painting, construction, facilities maintenance, or related experience is preferred.Knowledge of surface preparation, paint application, color matching, and general repairs.Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic digital work-order platforms.Dependable, organized, and able to solve problems independently.Positive attitude and ability to communicate professionally with team members and management.Willingness to follow all company policies and safety procedures.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to bend, crawl, climb, crouch, kneel, reach overhead, push, and pull.Ability to safely lift and carry tools and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.Comfortable working in confined spaces and at elevated heights.Ability to safely use ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts.Full-Time Benefits & PerksEligible full-time team members may enjoy:Medical insurance with 85% of the employee premium paid by the company.Dental and Vision insurance with 100% of the employee premium paid by the company.Employer-paid short-term and long-term disability coverage.Employer-paid $25,000 basic life insurance policy.401(k) with employer matching contributions.HSA employer contributions for eligible plans.Optional FSA, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, medical gap, identity protection, pet insurance, and additional life coverage.Paid holidays, vacation, and personal time off.DailyPay available — access earned pay when needed.Discounted meals on market days.Free on-site parking.Employee referral programADP employee discounts.NMFA scholarship opportunities.Apply today and put your painting and maintenance skills to work at Cole's Flea Market!Cole's Flea Market is an equal opportunity employer.
