Together with DocGo's integrated Ambulnz medical transport services, DocGo is bridging the gap between physical and virtual care.Job Description:You will be providing DocGo services by monitoring, assessing, and providing directed treatment common to complex injuries and illnesses through comprehensive assessments, including diagnosis, treatment, and outcome management for adult and pediatric patients. Here is what you can expect day-to-day at DocGo:Each day, you will drive to patients' homes to provide care and monitoringWhile at a patient's home, engage in assessments and provide treatment under the supervision of an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for patients facing barriers to accessing the traditional healthcare systemThroughout the treatment process, maintain patient medical records and documentation consistent with state regulations, DocGo standards, and policy through our HealthPoint and Athena EMR systemYou will be practicing under direction with synchronous telemedicine supportResponsibilities:Act as a conduit for the medical treatment of the Health Plan Partnerships patient populationNavigate conversations related to management of health, well-being, medication management, and goals of careProvide supervised, directed treatment of common medical diagnosesParticipate in continuing education as required by the state where you reside and the DocGo training teamAdhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metricsProvide care with cultural sensitivity and compassionLead your practice with a patient-centered approachOther related duties as deemed necessaryQualifications:Current unrestricted Rhode Island State LPN licenseValid Driver's License (for at least 2 years) and an acceptable driving recordActive and current American Heart Association BLSPhlebotomy experienceMinimum of two years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Ability to lift 50-60 lbsEmergency Department, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Hospital – Critical Care, Family Practice or other relevant areas experience, preferredClinical work experience with pediatrics, preferredFluent bilingual English/Spanish, preferredEEO/AAP Statement: DocGo is an equal opportunity employer.
