Residential Counselor MAP Salary: $20.00 - $23.75 hourly Schedule: 20 hours Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. FLSA: Non Exempt What You’ll Do: Provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments (GLE), fostering skills for daily living and community integration. Key responsibilities include: Teach ADLs (cooking, budgeting, medication management) and socialization skills. Implement treatment plans and behavioral interventions under clinician guidance. Administer/supervise medications per MAP guidelines and document care. Transport residents to appointments and community activities. Advocate for residents’ needs and model healthy coping strategies. Maintain a safe, clean home environment and complete timely documentation. What You Bring: High school diploma or GED; mental health experience preferred. Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with mobility (bending, standing, etc.). Strong communication skills in English and basic computer proficiency. Compassion, patience, and a commitment to trauma‑informed care. Bonus: lived experience or multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese).
