Maintenance AssociateYonkers Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Associate to join our team. The Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and functional environment for residents, staff, and visitors by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and facility upkeep throughout the building and grounds.Location: 115 S Broadway, YonkersFull Time, Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm no weekendsWhy Work for Us? Because We Offer:Payrate $18-$20/hourDirect DepositHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time OffHoliday Pay401KResponsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facilityRespond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situationsMaintain resident rooms, offices, common areas, and building equipmentAssist with plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and minor HVAC repairsConduct preventative maintenance inspections and document completed workEnsure facility grounds are clean, safe, and well maintainedMove furniture, equipment, and supplies as neededFollow all safety regulations, infection control standards, and facility policiesAssist with snow removal, trash disposal, and general building upkeepReport major repair needs or safety concerns to the Maintenance DirectorQualificationsPrevious maintenance experience preferred, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing settingHigh School Diploma or equivalentBasic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systemsAbility to use maintenance tools and equipment safelyStrong problem-solving and communication skillsEntry level are welcomed
