Network Administrator

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Administrator to support a long-term enterprise IT program based in Newington, VA . The Network Administrator will support enterprise routing and switching, network access control, network management, and troubleshooting across a large-scale environment. This position requires a TS/SCI Clearance and is onsite in Newington, VA! Responsibilities of the Network Administrator: Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco-based enterprise networks Administer and support Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) Configure and maintain VLANs, trunking, inter-VLAN routing, and network segmentation Support enterprise routing and switching infrastructure Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve connectivity issues Troubleshoot network issues using tools such as Wireshark and NetFlow Support network security technologies including firewalls, ACLs, NAT, and VPNs Manage network access control technologies including 802.1X, RADIUS, and TACACS+ Support secure network operations within a highly regulated environment Collaborate with network engineers, system administrators, infrastructure teams, and security teams Participate in change management, incident response, and network maintenance activities Document network configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and operational changes Support data center and physical network infrastructure Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to resolve network issues and maintain reliable enterprise operations Qualifications for the Network Administrator: 3+ years of network administration experience supporting enterprise environments Active TS/SCI clearance Experience supporting enterprise routing and switching environments Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches Experience configuring and troubleshooting VLANs, routing, and network segmentation Experience with Cisco ISE Experience with Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) Experience using Wireshark, NetFlow, or similar network troubleshooting tools Knowledge of 802.1X, RADIUS, and TACACS+ Experience with firewalls, ACLs, NAT, and VPN technologies Strong understanding of network security and access-control principles CompTIA Security+ certification CCNA certification Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills Ability to work effectively with infrastructure, systems, and security teams Compensation for the Network Administrator: Salary: $120,000 - $135,000 Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, and Paid Holidays Keywords: Network Administrator, Network Engineer, Cisco, Cisco Networking, Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA Center, DNAC, Routing, Switching, VLAN, Network Segmentation, Inter-VLAN Routing, Enterprise Networking, Network Troubleshooting, Wireshark, NetFlow, 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, Network Access Control, NAC, Firewall, VPN, ACL, NAT, Data Center Networking, Network Security, Infrastructure, Security+, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, TS/SCI, Network Operations, Enterprise IT, Network Management #J-18808-Ljbffr Zachary Piper Solutions
