As part of the Medical Oncology team at Hoag Memorial Hospital, Newport Beach , you’ll give direct inpatient nursing care as per the California Nurse Practice Act, and in support of the mission of the Patient Care Services Division.

Inside Hoag’s Oncology Unit:

Hoag is a recognized leader in cancer care, offering the latest in diagnostic and treatment capabilities to the community. Our Medical Oncology unit features 33 beds, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:5 depending on patient mix. While 80 to 90 percent of our admissions are oncology patients, we also receive overflow patients from our various medical/surgical units.
