Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide acute care rehabilitation services in a hospital setting. The OT will evaluate, treat, and manage patients across multiple acuity levels, supporting functional recovery and safe discharge planning.
Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Provide therapy for patients in ICU, progressive care, and acute units
• Deliver ADL training, therapeutic exercises, and functional mobility interventions
• Assess patient progress and update plan of care regularly
• Recommend appropriate discharge disposition based on patient status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians and nurses
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes accurately
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation techniques and recovery goals
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
• Manage care for conditions such as stroke, TBI, cardiac surgery recovery, fractures, and neurological disorders

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist License (Indiana)
• NBCOT Certification required
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital OT experience
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical reasoning and patient management skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced inpatient environments

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Manual therapy experience
• Lymphedema certification
