Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Vermont

Job Description:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Vermont, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care. This position may involve serving as a backup Charge Nurse, requiring strong leadership and coordination skills. Your responsibilities will include coordinating comprehensive nursing care for patients, actively participating in patient and family education, and collaborating with the healthcare team to uphold professional nursing standards in clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a backup Charge Nurse when needed.
Coordinate total nursing care for patients.
Actively engage in patient and family teaching.
Provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing staff and the patient care team.
Utilize the EMR system (Cerner) efficiently.
Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4/5.
Manage an average daily patient census of 22.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Med Surg & Rehab.
Ability to float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg units.
Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications.
Valid Vermont RN license or Compact State Nursing License.
