Injury Prevention Professional

About the Role Injury Prevention Professional – located in Bath, Maine. Help keep employees safe, strong, and injury‑free. Working Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week with 8‑hour shifts between 7:30am‑4pm, occasionally later. Key Accountabilities Conduct employee injury prevention programs, education, and training. Develop exercise programs specific to injury prevention and conditioning needs. Collect and document appropriate program data to support the ROI process. Develop, promote, and market wellness and general education programs. Support employee healthcare teams with job function assessment, incident investigation and care management. Other duties as needed/assigned. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Exercise Science or other related field. Current Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute. Personal Training certification from ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM, NETA or NSCA a plus. First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute preferred. Work experience in a clinical environment (occupational therapy, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, nursing) preferred. 2–3 years’ experience in corporate‑based health and fitness program preferred. Understanding of biomechanics, occupational safety and proficient in exercise prescription preferred. Compensation & Benefits Applicants must meet hiring requirements, including but not limited to pre‑employment drug test. Compensation: $27.00–$29.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
