Senior Loan OfficerCountryPlace Mortgage, a leading nationwide personal property, mortgage and commercial lender headquartered in Plano, TX, is seeking a Senior Loan Officer to help grow our Originations Department. This in-person role is in our Plano, TX office. As a Senior Loan Officer, you will collaborate with Loan Processors, Underwriting, Compliance team and other essential departments. The Senior Loan Officer will be responsible for managing relationships with retailers and other partners. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a deep understanding of lending products, and the ability to guide borrowers through the loan process with professionalism and care.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAdept at managing relationships with assigned retailers by originating loans and providing high quality serviceProvide unparalleled service to borrowers ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and accurate mannerExceptional at guiding borrowers through the loan process, from application to closingPresent and explain different loan options to borrowers and retailersAdept at communicating denial reasons to the retailer, to effectively maintain the relationshipExpert in communicating loan approval to retailer and customer, selling benefits of our program to win loanWork with internal staff to provide alternatives to turn denials into approvalsReviews conditions submitted on approved loans, clears conditions when appropriate and submits to Credit Analyst for review and approvalEnsure loans adhere to investor guidelinesAbility to adjust work and thought process to accommodate multiple investor guidelinesEmploy a strong sense of urgency and ownershipDemonstrate a professional work ethic in all facets of completing work dutiesRecognized expert and leader among loan originators, underwriters and lending associatesConsistently meets and exceeds objectivesConsistently meets and exceeds individual, team and department objectivesPerform other duties and special projects as assignedPosition Requirements, Capabilities & SkillsExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-taskAbility to identify and resolve problems in a timely mannerEffective decision-making, customer service and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independentlyStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work effectively in a team environmentRecognized leadership capabilities and executive presentation skillsMinimum QualificationsBA/BS degree required in Marketing, Business, Accounting, Finance or ManagementWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and financial calculator3 years of Manufactured Housing Loan Officer experience OR5+ years of Loan Officer experienceWe OfferCompetitive Salary plus bonusMedical/Dental/Vision InsurancePaid Holidays401K MatchGenerous PTOFSA/HSA PlansLife /Disability/Accidental Insurance and much more!Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
