Shift Length: 14-hour nocturnist shifts
Schedule Options:
- 3 shifts per week, or
- 6 shifts every other week
Average Nightly Admissions: 6
ICU Coverage: Open ICU (9 beds)

Clinical Scope

Hospitalist nocturnist coverage
Open ICU with tele-intensivist support
ICU procedures include:
- Vent management
- Lumbar puncture
- Central lines
Specialty backup includes:
- General Surgery, Cardiology, ENT, Ortho
- OB/GYN, GI, Nephrology, Ophthalmology
- Sleep Medicine, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy

Program Overview

81-bed community hospital
Established Med-Peds hospitalist program:
- 6 physicians
- 1 advanced practice provider
Fully integrated Epic EMR
Employment by Physicians
Part of a growing 9-hospital physician-led health system

Licensure & Certifications

Board Certification: Internal Medicine or Med-Peds (BE/BC)
State License: North Carolina
EMR Experience: Epic preferred
