This full-time position offers a challenging and rewarding environment where your expertise ensures operational efficiency and safety.Primary Duties Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in an industrial setting, ensuring compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production operations.Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and implement preventive maintenance strategies.Document all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs accurately in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Operate electrical testing equipment and tools safely and proficiently to diagnose faults and verify repairs.Assist in the training and mentoring of junior maintenance technicians, sharing knowledge of electrical systems and best practices.Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines strictly to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.Qualifications Proven experience as an industrial electrician or maintenance technician, particularly in a manufacturing or production environment.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, PLCs, motor drives, and industrial automation.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to diagnostics and repair.Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant codes and standards.Flexibility to work the 2nd shift and adapt to the dynamic nature of industrial maintenance demands.Education / Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent technical training in industrial electrical work strongly preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance or a related field. The US base rate for this full-time position is 31.5. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
