Shift: Full-Time | Days
Schedule: Full-Time (No Weekends)

Pay Rate

Salary Range: $38.52 – $55.20/hr (based on years of experience)
Sign-On Bonus: None specified

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida or valid Multi-State Compact license
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
MUST have recent Behavioral Health nursing experience in an acute care setting
Demonstrated clinical leadership, charge, or nursing management experience in psychiatric/behavioral health services
BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) required within 30 days of employment
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification required within 30 days of employment
Mandatory background fingerprinting clearance required prior to start

Responsibilities

Provide operational and clinical leadership for the daily functions, workflows, and nurse staffing of the behavioral health unit
Oversee the delivery of specialized, evidence-based psychiatric and mental health care across patient populations (children, adolescents, adults, and seniors)
Direct, mentor, and evaluate unit nursing staff, driving professional competency, retention, and a culture of accountability
Ensure adherence to clinical care plans, crisis de-escalation protocols, and patient safety standards
Maintain strict compliance with hospital SOPs, quality benchmarks, and healthcare regulatory standards
Facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration among psychiatrists, social workers, clinical therapists, and medical teams to ensure continuity of care
Manage patient admissions, unit throughput, and discharge planning workflows within the psychiatric setting
