Physical Therapy Assistant (LTAC) travel assignment in Boston, MA. Start date 10/05/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,441–$1,506 per week with 40 guaranteed hours per week. Responsibilities
- Provide PTA services under supervision to inpatients within an LTAC rehab program, contributing to the implementation and progression of treatment plans.
- Conduct therapeutic exercises, range-of-motion and strengthening activities, gait and transfer training, and functional mobility tasks tailored to the patient’s goals.
- Monitor patient responses to therapy, document progress, and communicate changes to the PT and interdisciplinary team.
- Assist with patient positioning, ROM, edema management, and limb protection as appropriate; reinforce safety and infection-control protocols.
- Participate in care planning, rounds, and discharge planning, contributing to outcome measures and goal attainment documentation.
- Maintain equipment, adapt modalities per approved protocols, and ensure documentation compliance and timely charting.

Requirements
- Active PTA license in the state of Massachusetts (Mass Board of Allied Health)
- CPR/AED certification
- Minimum 1 year PTA experience required
- Preferred: outpatient hospital rehab experience
- Ability to work in an inpatient LTAC setting with appropriate patient populations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; commitment to patient safety and quality of care
