Diagnostic Radiologist

Practice Info Hospital-based setting Collaborative practice environment Diverse case mix Support of an experienced clinical team Responsibilities Interpret and report a wide variety of diagnostic imaging studies Provide timely reads for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department imaging Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary care teams Communicate critical findings and recommendations when appropriate Maintain accurate and timely documentation Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Requirements MD or DO required Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology Completion of an accredited Radiology residency program Active West Virginia medical license preferred DEA Comfortable interpreting a broad range of diagnostic studies, including General Radiography (X-ray), Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound Comfortable interpreting Nuclear Medicine (preferred) Comfortable interpreting Fluoroscopy (preferred)
