The facility features 2 dedicated EP labs, an OR hybrid suite, and clinic exam rooms, supported by a collaborative team environment and robust infrastructure for advanced cardiac care. Opportunity: Physician - Internal Medicine - Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Job Details: Locum Tenens assignment beginning ASAP on an ongoing basis, with an initial commitment of at least 6 months required Must be available to complete two Monday-Friday stretches per month beginning January at the latest Schedule is 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with an automatic unpaid 30-minute lunch break; no call and no holidays Approximate case mix of 60-70% clinic and 30-40% procedural Procedures include AFib ablations and all related electrophysiology procedures; no VT, PVC, or extractions 12 patient encounters per shift on clinic days; 3-4 patient encounters per shift on lab days Facility includes 2-4 exam rooms in clinic, 2 EP labs, and an OR hybrid suite At least 2 years of experience working as an EP post-fellowship is required Current Epic experience required (within the last 12 months) Board certification required Credentialing timeframe is approximately 45-120 days Nearest airport is Duluth, with MSP approximately a 2-hour drive away offering additional flight options Lodging accommodations available through Essentia's Preferred Hotel List Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
