Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a 13-week seasonal travel assignment in a Spine & Total Joint operating room, requiring recent hospital CST experience and large spinal fusion case exposure.

Details

• Work in a Spine and Total Joint Operating Room within a Hip Preservation Center
• Unit includes 9 ORs for Spine and Joint and 4 for the International Hip Preservation Center, staffing 8-11 rooms daily
• Day shift hours from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, Monday through Friday
• Weekends are call-only with no scheduled shifts
• On-call required with a 30-minute response time
• Night call coverage from 5 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday, with no overnight shifts required
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Specializes in spine and joint surgical equipment

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months current hospital CST experience within the last 6 months
• Minimum of 1 year of overall experience
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Active DORA and NBSTSA certifications required
• CST certification and applicable state license required if applicable
• Experience with large spinal fusions including ALIF, OLIF, DLIF, ACDF, and ACDR required
• Spine and joint scrub experience preferred
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

• Scrubs are provided for OR and CST staff
• Local candidates will not be considered
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
