You'll travel to patients throughout your local area and provide scheduled skilled nursing visits one patient at a time. Assess what you're seeing. Provide the treatment. Answer the questions. Patient visits are scheduled within approximately a 35-mile radius of your home , helping create a service area centered around where you live. You'll spend your day traveling between patients in your local area while receiving mileage reimbursement between patient visits. What Your Visits Could Include Skilled nursing observations and assessments Wound care and dressing changes Medication management and education Injections and ordered treatments Chronic disease monitoring Patient and caregiver education Reinforcing physician orders and plans of care Monitoring for changes in patient condition Communicating concerns to RN Case Managers and physicians Collaborating with therapists and other interdisciplinary clinicians Accurate and timely clinical documentation Every visit is different, but the goal remains the same: Help the patient remain healthy, informed, independent, and safely at home.
