CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Operator – 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift

We are seeking an experienced CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform dimensional inspections, validate parts, manage calibration systems, and support Statistical Process Control (SPC) to ensure product quality and measurement accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Perform dimensional inspections and complete required documentation.
Operate, program, and maintain CMM equipment.
Maintain the inspection lab and calibration records.
Monitor SPC data and process performance.
Conduct Gage R&R and capability studies.
Maintain inspection records and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in quality, metrology, or manufacturing.
Experience operating and programming CMM equipment.
Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
Knowledge of SPC, calibration systems, and measurement techniques.
Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with IATF 16949 and measurement system requirements is preferred.
