Description

• Conduct evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments, crafting tailored treatment plans to meet individual needs
• Implement personalized physical therapy interventions emphasizing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functioning
• Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and a diverse rehabilitation team to enhance patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and exercises for home practice
• Ensure meticulous documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress, adhering to both facility protocols and regulatory standards
• Take part in team rounds and interdisciplinary discussions to facilitate cohesive patient care

Education

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited education program

Certifications

• Licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida
• Preferred CPR certification
