Job Details Position: Radiologic Technologist III Location: Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Hours: 3pm - 11:30pm, on-call schedule, rotating weekends & holidays Employment Type: Full Time, 40 hours Hourly Pay Range: $31.46 - $48.76 Sign‑On Bonus: $10,000 Responsibilities Operate a variety of radiology equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes as directed by Radiologists, in accordance with established protocols. Assist physicians and other clinical staff with obtaining films, images, and other records using the Radiology PACS or hospital information systems. Explain procedures to patients, providing opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust. Deliver and ensure customer service in all aspects of the job. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED. A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or higher, preferably. License: IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure. Certifications: Certificate of Completion or a letter from the Radiology Program Director; Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross; must be a candidate for ARRT (American Registry of Radiological Technology) certification. Experience: Knowledge of current ACR/JCAHO requirements to maintain compliance; prior x‑ray experience in a surgical environment, required.
