Quick Facts Location: Visalia, CA Start Date: 12/31/2025 Duration: Ongoing assignment Shift: Varied; details based on hospital scheduling Hours/week: Varies based on coverage needs Employment Type: Locum/Contract Licenses/Certifications: Valid CA medical license, appropriate board certification Experience: Prior obstetrics and gynecology experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $234 per hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages, weekly direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage, referral bonuses, licensure and certification reimbursement, paid sick time, and travel reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care in a Level III NICU setting Participate in labor and delivery, including emergent gynecology procedures Collaborate with local community providers for backup support during emergencies Contribute to the pseudo laborist program for unassigned patients Follow hospital protocols to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes Engage in resident education and support multidisciplinary team efforts What You Need Valid California medical license and board certification in OB/GYN Experience in obstetrics, including labor and delivery and emergent gynecology Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This assignment supports a leading hospital in Visalia, California, known for its Level III NICU and dedicated obstetrics and gynecology services.
