Quick Facts: Location: Potsdam, NY (50 Leroy Street) Start Date: 08/10/2026 Duration: 3 days (Nov 10-12, 2026; potentially other dates based on needs) Shift: Days, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Hours/week: Approximately 24 hours Employment Type: Contract Licensure/Certs: NY State Medical License, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology, AHA BLS, ACLS Experience: Minimum 2 years recent radiation oncology experience Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $2,378.61 Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do: Evaluate patients’ medical histories and conduct diagnostic assessments for cancer diagnosis Develop personalized radiation treatment plans based on cancer type, stage, and location Administer advanced radiation therapies, including stereotactic radiosurgery Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments as necessary Manage and support patients’ side effects of radiation therapy Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology team members for comprehensive care Engage in ongoing research and quality improvement initiatives What You Need: Active NY State Medical License Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology Minimum of 2 years recent relevant experience Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications Strong communication skills and collegial attitude Preferred: Experience with EPIC charting system Familiarity with Pixys medication dispensing system About the Assignment: Join a well-established, accredited facility in Potsdam, NY, serving adult patients with complex medical needs.
