We Offer:Sign-on Bonus $2500.Pay Rate: $28-$30/hr based on experienceMedical, Dental, and Vision insurancePaid Time OffDaily Pay401kDirect DepositKey Responsibilities:Set up and operate dialysis machines, ensuring proper functioning and troubleshoot machine issues when necessary while following safety protocolsInitialization and termination of dialysis treatment via AVG and/or AVF under the supervision of a Registered NurseCapable of checking the water system for Chlorine/ChloramineCapable of checking the water system as per re-established parameters and will report any deviations to the charge nurseDemonstrate the knowledge and ability to mix and transfer Bicarbonate in the central delivery systemDisinfection of Bicarbonate Tank and Hemodialysis MachineChecking the water system for the Chlorine/ChloramineEnsuring the enforcement of all policies and procedures including patient's bill of rightsHave knowledge of emergency procedures. Able to function in an emergency situation under the director of the person in charge:Understand CPR protocols, and can assist during an emergency situationCommunicate information regarding the patient's condition to the MD, RN, LPNMonitor patients throughout dialysis treatments, checking vital signs and ensuring comfort and well-being.Administer prescribed treatments such as dialysis, administering medications, and documenting all treatment processes.Assist in patient assessments by collecting and recording relevant medical history and data before dialysis sessions.Provide patient education on dialysis procedures, diet, and lifestyle changes to help manage kidney disease.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including vital signs, treatment progress, and any complications.Ensure sterile techniques and infection control procedures are followed at all times.Work closely with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients.Relationships:Keep the Nurse Manager or charge nurse informed of the operational status of all equipment on an ongoing basisRespect the confidentiality of all patientsMaintain a professional and functional attitude with co-workers in the presence of the patients and othersQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredDialysis Technician Certification by a state certified program and national commercially available certification program (CHHT) required1 year Dialysis experience requiredCPR requiredPrevious experience in a dialysis setting requiredKnowledge of dialysis equipment, treatments, and patient care protocols.Strong understanding of infection control and safety standards.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of care.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism
