Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Overview Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) at BioLife Plasma Services, a subsidiary of Takeda, reports to the Plasma Center Manager and supports plasma center operations by ensuring donor eligibility, monitoring donor and employee health, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent processes. Conduct medical history interviews, physical examinations, blood testing, and review serological protein electrophoresis results. Identify and manage donor reactions and adverse events per SOPs, and coordinate emergency care as needed. Document and report donor test results, including exclusion of unsuitable results. Support employee vaccination programs (Hepatitis B, seasonal flu) and manage employee incident reporting. Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized, investigating pandemic threats in the local community. Provide center‑level support for environmental, health, and safety (EHS) and assist with operational guidance under the Center Physician. Participate in training and certification requirements, including FDA‑approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate‑equivalent recognized nursing program with state requirements. Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned (LPN or LVN). Current CPR and AED certification. Fulfill state IV therapy requirements. Minimum of two years clinical or hospital experience. Ability to complete FDA‑approved training and maintain certifications. Compensation & Benefits Hourly wage range: $25.60 – $35.20 (location: USA – WI – MountPleasant – Dura).
