Computer Lab Technician

Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Computer Lab Technician to join their team. As a Computer Lab Technician, you will be part of the technical support department supporting engineering and IT teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Computer Lab Technician Location: Santa Clara, CA What's the Job? Proficiency in soldering techniques, electronics, and circuitry knowledge. Maintain inventory of hardware and supplies, including checking in and out equipment. Install motherboards, FPGA boards, and run cables for system setups. Install and wire equipment in racks, ensuring proper configuration and safety. Administer Linux machines, FPGA boards, and troubleshoot technical issues. What's Needed? Experience with MS Office Applications: Word, Excel, Outlook. Familiarity with basic Unix commands and understanding of PCB design, schematics, and layout. Knowledge of lab tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies. Ability to troubleshoot PCs and servers, and understand computer peripheral hardware. What's in it for me?
