Caregivers must be reliable, dependable, honest and caring. Caregivers must have their own transportation. Caregivers must be observant enough to recognize changes in their clients and be capable of alerting the appropriate medical personnel if necessary.

We are seeking an HHA Home Health Aide - Caregiver to become a part of our team! You will provide routine healthcare to patients at the patient's home or in a care facility.

Our office SERVICE AREAS: Elmhurst, Westchester, Lombard, Hillside, Downers Grove, La Grange, Oak Park and Chicago surrounding areas. Candidates must reside within 10 to 15 miles of La Grange, IL. (i.e. Western Suburbs preferred) MUST LIVE in USA Currently !

Responsibilities:

• Provide routine individualized care to the elderly, convalescents, or persons with disabilities
• Monitor and report changes in patient health status
• Provide personal care, such as bathing and dressing patients
• Assisting with bathing, showering, toileting
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Assisting with dressing & grooming
• Transfer assistance
• Light housekeeping, laundry, organizing incoming mail
• Accompanying or transporting clients to grocery store, errands, doctor visits etc.

Qualifications Required:

• 2+ years of experience in hospice, home health - Non-relatives.
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Ability to build rapport with patients/clients
• Ability to handle physical workload; Lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
