Registered Nurse - Acute Care

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification: Required
• AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification: Required
• At least two years of recent experience in the field: Required

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients based on established standards of care and the nursing process.

Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide safe and effective patient care.

Evaluate patient progress toward outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary.

Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health information and care plans.

Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
