Entry Level Civil/Environmental EngineerWe are looking for an Entry Level Civil/Environmental Engineer to join our Water Resources Team to improve infrastructure in our Columbus office. Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering and have zero to three years of related experience. Knowledge of AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D and/or Revit is preferred. Excellent writing, organizational and communication skills will be essential. Candidates must be self-motivated and able to work well with others. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule available after 90 days of employment.Typical responsibilities include:Provide technical planning, design, permitting, and construction support on various water utility projects that may include collection system, pump station, wastewater treatment, reclaimed water, water treatment, water distribution, and various other ancillary civil engineering projects.Prepare engineering calculations and supporting analysis of alternativesPrepare design reports and construction plans using local and state standardsPrepare construction plans using AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D and RevitReview plans and specificationsPrepare/assist with permit submittalsPrepare preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantitiesAssist with/review scope, budget, and schedule of new project tasksMonitor task budget and progressDocument design changes and communicationsConduct on-site inspections as neededPrepare project status and other reportsAssist in the preparation of proposalsAssist Project ManagersAttend client, public, project and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, preconstruction, etc.Maintain excellent client relationsMaintain a safe working environmentEducation:Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental EngineeringSkills/Experience:0 to 3 years of related experience requiredAutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or Revit experience is preferredEIT preferredAbout Wade Trim:Wade Trim is committed to maximizing the value of infrastructure investments.
