Job Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and post daily cash, check, and electronic payments
• Prepare and balance daily cash deposits
• Reconcile cash receipts against dealership documentation
• Research and resolve discrepancies in payment records
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and filing systems
• Communicate with dealership personnel regarding deposit or posting issues
• Follow established internal controls and accounting procedures
• Support the accounting team with additional clerical tasks as needed

Compensation and Benefits

This position is paid on a pay scale that includes hourly compensation range from $22.50 - $27.00, which varies based on experience, skill set, and performance. Actual compensation is determined by factors such as job-related experience, hours worked, and business needs.

Qualifications

Cash Clerk Qualifications

• Prior cash handling, accounting clerical, or office experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic math and reconciliation skills
• Comfortable using accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy
• Organized, reliable, and able to meet daily deadlines
• Experience in an automotive business office is a plus but not required

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check and drug screening.
