About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - CVOR Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care CVOR RN hospital experience License: Active RN licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 1 year of current acute care CVOR RN hospital experience. BLS and ACLS certifications. Description: The unit consists of 2 heart rooms with the possibility of a 3rd. There are 4 RNs and 3 CSTs on staff. The typical patient ratio is 1:1. The type of equipment used includes electronic medical records. The most commonly performed procedures include CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR. Candidates should possess a confident and positive attitude. Collaboration with staff and providers is essential. Patient experience is a priority. On-call duty includes 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month. Candidates with ECMO experience are encouraged to apply.
