Job Overview A Sleep DSP at Devereux works overnight at Scenic Hill IRA, Clermont, NY, providing care and support for individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and dual diagnoses. The role requires being responsive to residents' needs and assisting with daily activities and personal management during awake hours. Responsibilities Provide support and assistance with daily activities, including health and personal management. Help individuals achieve personal goals and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment. Respond to residents' needs throughout the night, ensuring a comfortable and secure setting. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred. At least one year of experience preferred; consideration for GED program enrollment. Valid NY Driver's License. Flexibility, patience, energy, creativity, sense of humor, and a passion for working with individuals with special needs. Benefits Paid hours while sleeping. Paid orientation.
