Production Scheduler

Role and Responsibilities In this role, you will generate a detailed production schedule based on the production plan to maximize the use of resources and meet established production specifications and schedules. Each day, you will feed information on production capacity issues and material availability, and release manufacturing work orders. Work model: Onsite. Production Scheduler supporting the Electrification Installation Products division in Albuquerque, NM. Responsibilities include reviewing and scheduling customer and stock orders, monitoring SAP MRP‑generated production plans, releasing and managing work orders, securing materials and resources, analyzing schedule adherence to resolve deviations quickly, and balancing customer demands with manufacturing capacity. Key Accountability Creating and maintaining a detailed production schedule from the production plan. Executing daily Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to create and manage production requirements. Establishing operation sequence and lead time to meet shipment dates according to the master schedule. Monitoring schedule adherence, identifying root causes for deviation, and taking improvement action. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Engineering, Business or related field and 1+ years of internship or full‑time experience in production planning, scheduling, and/or supply chain preferred. Working knowledge of general supply chain and production activities in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SAP ERP preferred. Detail oriented, organized, and excellent communication skills – written and verbal, with cross‑functional internal and external parties and teams.
