Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Execute a broad range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during all procedures, explaining each part of the process with care and empathy
• Team up with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-quality diagnostic imagery
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Licensure/ Certifications

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
