Job Details Location: North Andover, MA 01845 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $83,500.00 – $94,750.00 per year Shift: 1st Shift Category: Travel Responsibilities Manages the travel function across branch locations to increase sales revenue. Works closely with branch management to facilitate Five Diamond Service delivery. Manages the selling performance of Travel Agents and establishes appropriate staffing levels for branch locations. Resolves member issues and works with Branch Managers to oversee day‑to‑day performance of agents. Manages activities of the Travel Agency sales staff across an assigned region to achieve desired sales productivity and growth, analyzes sales and service results to capitalize on trends and identify individual growth opportunities. Develops programs to achieve sales and revenue goals with senior management approval; sets sales goals and holds the team accountable for reaching goals. Communicates and implements marketing campaigns, monitors results, and ensures that Club policies and procedures are followed. Manages the employment process for branch travel agency staff, including hiring, training, motivation, performance management, and compliance with standardized procedures. Identifies training needs, works with Travel training function to develop and assess training modules, and ensures adequate staffing levels in the branches. Strengthens employee and member relationships by resolving issues fairly, acting as member advocate for escalated issues and minimizing financial impact to Agency and Agent. Teams with branch management to facilitate service delivery for the travel function, ensuring maintenance of Five‑Diamond Service during all transactions. Identifies strengths and weaknesses in automation, reporting, policies, and procedures; teams with senior management to develop more time‑ and cost‑effective procedures for reservation booking, report generation, and workflow management. Builds relationships with industry representatives, vendors, local community leaders, and travel professionals to provide a competitive advantage to AAA Travel and facilitate sales growth. Keeps abreast of industry changes that may impact business; analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations to senior management regarding marketing, products, etc.; informs staff of changes, agency and club changes, and vendor requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required. 3+ years of supervisory/management experience required.
