Job Title: Fabricator Job Description

This role involves assembling and fabricating metal and hydraulic lines in a manufacturing environment using hand and power tools. You will interpret blueprints and diagrams, perform mechanical assembly, and ensure that all components meet quality and measurement specifications.

• Assemble and fabricate metal and hydraulic lines according to specifications and production requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to determine assembly procedures and component placement.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and crimpers to perform precise mechanical assembly tasks.
• Measure and cut materials accurately using basic math and measurement skills.
• Inspect assembled components to ensure they meet quality standards and dimensional tolerances.
• Follow production schedules and meet daily or weekly output targets.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues or defects to supervisors.
• Handle materials and equipment safely to prevent damage and ensure efficient workflow.

• 1–2 years of hands-on assembly experience using hand and power tools.
• Experience in assembly or fabrication in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• Basic math skills and ability to read and use measurements accurately.
• Mechanical assembly skills, including working with metal and hydraulic components.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and crimpers.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.

• Prior experience in a small manufacturing or production environment.
• Comfort working with production schedules and meeting deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills when handling assembly or fit issues.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small, close-knit team.

This position is based in a small manufacturing plant with approximately 20–30 employees, fostering a close-knit and collaborative atmosphere. The work involves hands-on mechanical assembly using hand and power tools, crimpers, and working with metal and hydraulic components. The role follows a first-shift schedule, typically from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., providing consistent daytime hours in a production setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glen Burnie, MD.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Glen Burnie,MD.
