Location: Sacramento, CA — Hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two remote days, typically Monday and Friday. Note: Must have an active California Bar license and 3+ years of bankruptcy, insolvency, and creditor-side/creditors' rights experience. More senior attorneys are welcome, and candidates from in-house or solo practice backgrounds will be considered. Job Description Represent creditors and business clients in bankruptcy and insolvency matters. Handle creditor-side and creditors' rights matters from strategy through resolution. Analyze bankruptcy proceedings, restructuring issues, claims, and related disputes. Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents. Participate in discovery, negotiations, hearings, and other bankruptcy proceedings. Advise clients on insolvency risks, creditor remedies, and strategic options. Work collaboratively with attorneys across multiple practice areas. Manage matters independently while contributing to a highly experienced legal team. Qualifications Active California Bar admission. 3+ years of bankruptcy and insolvency experience. Substantive creditor-side or creditors' rights experience. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills. Ability to manage matters independently and work effectively with clients and colleagues. Strong interest in developing a sophisticated bankruptcy and insolvency practice.
