Job Description
Title: Respiratory Therapist - RRT

Schedule:
- Shift: Nights, 3x12 (1900-0730)
- Weekend expectation: 4 rotating weekend shifts per month
- On-call: Required

Assignment Details:
- Contract length: 13 weeks

Requirements:
- Required licenses: Active state license in hand (NY license required)
- Required certifications: BLS, RRT, ACLS
- Experience: Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- EMR Requirement: EPIC proficiency

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and monitor patients with respiratory issues.
- Administer treatments related to lung function and respiratory conditions.
- Manage ventilator settings and perform ventilator troubleshooting.
- Assist with intubations and provide support during extubations.
- Conduct patient assessments and interpret ABG results.
- Maintain pulmonary hygiene through various techniques.

- Orientation: 24 hours
- Background checks: Reviewed case-by-case
