Department Overview Silvus Technologies, a leading provider of advanced MANET and MIMO communications systems, is reshaping mesh network technology for mission‑critical applications – on the ground, in the air and at sea. Job Overview This Human Resources Generalist serves as a key partner in the delivery of human resources across the company, focusing on compliance, employee relations, policy interpretation and cross‑functional collaboration. The role supports operations in West Los Angeles and Salt Lake City, UT, while maintaining a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three onsite days per week (Mon, Wed, Thu). Location and Schedule Headquarters: West Los Angeles, CA (hybrid schedule – 3 days onsite per week). Travel to other Silvus locations, including Salt Lake City, UT, may be required. Role and Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for HR Business Partner inquiries, providing guidance consistent with company policy and employment laws. Partner with the Senior Human Resources Generalist on onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure compliance and a consistent employee experience. Oversee the maintenance and integrity of personnel records to ensure compliance, data accuracy, and adherence to record‑keeping policies. Design, develop, and deliver training and coaching programs for supervisors and employees on compliant time‑keeping practices, corrective action, business unit policies, and policy interpretation. Partner with division heads to provide human resource guidance and direction. Provide guidance on leaves of absence, workers’ compensation/safety, time‑keeping/attendance, and employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policy. Conduct necessary workplace employee investigations pertaining to business partner divisions. Collaborate with the Human Resources Director to design and implement performance management, employee development, and engagement programs aligned with organizational strategy. Ensure compliance with and stay up to date with relevant HR laws and regulations. Analyze human resources metrics and support HR initiatives aligned with company goals. Lead or contribute to the development, interpretation, and implementation of HR policies and procedures, exercising independent judgment to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers, supervisors, department leaders, and other team members to create partnerships that yield success and cohesion. Independently manage or contribute to HR initiatives, applying professional expertise to improve processes, compliance, and employee engagement. Perform related duties as required by management. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of solid experience in human resources, preferably in a business partner capacity. Ability to represent the company in a polished, professional, and articulate manner, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Positive, user‑friendly attitude. Exceptional project management and organizational skills with a strong initiative toward resourcefulness. Proven independent and proactive problem‑solving with strong critical‑thinking skills. Strong attention to detail, coupled with a high‑level work ethic and the ability to work independently. Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with solid judgment. Strong multitasking and prioritization skills for a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite software programs. Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts. All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experience with Utah state labor laws, compliance, and regulations. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with multi‑state, non‑exempt employee populations. Travel Requirements Under 10%. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements Office environment in an indoor air‑conditioned facility. Extended periods sitting at a desk. Compensation Annual salary range: $100,000 – $110,000. Compensation within this range varies based on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay is based on the individual candidate.
