Driver Lead
Join Our Team: A Rewarding Career Awaits! We are looking for a dependable and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Driver Lead. If you have a passion for helping others and a commitment to providing excellent service, this role is for you!
What You'll Do:
- Prioritize Safety: Make quick, informed decisions considering traffic, road conditions, and bus operations.
- Identify & Resolve: Report mechanical issues, ensure authorized repairs, and submit required reports.
- Ensure Readiness: Conduct pre and post-trip bus inspections during scheduled hours.
- Communicate Effectively: Report accidents and passenger injuries to the Transportation Supervisor per policies and procedures.
- Maintain Compliance: Maintain a valid CDL, current DOT physical card, and safe driving record; report license changes immediately.
- Track & Document: Log employment activities per Federal Motor Carrier regulations and report to the Supervisor.
- Disclose & Report: Notify the Supervisor of medications or medical conditions before safety-sensitive duties.
- Lead & Support: Ensure staff compliance with policies, coordinate activities, provide training, and conduct performance evaluations.

- You handle two-way radios and tablets with ease.
- You operate 9-23 passenger buses safely, including using wheelchair lifts.

- You're a team player who can also take charge.
Education and Experience:
- Class C (or higher) CDL with a passenger endorsement.
- At least one year of related experience.
