Registered Nurse - Radiology

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in a vascular radiology setting, supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care during IR procedures, ensuring adherence to protocols and safety standards.
• Monitor patients closely during and after interventions, managing vital signs and responses.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and clinical observations in EMR.
• Assist with preparing equipment and supplies for procedures, ensuring operational readiness.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, post-care instructions, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current RN license with valid credentials.
• Possess at least 1 year of recent acute care IR RN experience in a hospital setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EMR systems, preferably Meditech.
• Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Be flexible and adaptable, capable of working across multiple radiology modalities.
• Prior experience with trauma facilities and Meditech is preferred.
