Inventory Coordinator

Job Title: Inventory Coordinator Location: Rockville, MD 20850 Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm (40 hours/week) Type: 6-month contract Pay: $30.00-$35.00/hour Work Model: Onsite Overview System One is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to join a growing biotech company in Rockville, MD. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in inventory, stockroom, receiving, materials coordination, or laboratory support who enjoys a mix of hands-on and administrative work. The role is approximately 50% hands-on supporting labs/offices and 50% desk-based, with responsibility for keeping materials, supplies, and equipment services organized and running smoothly. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, organize, and distribute incoming materials and packages Maintain stockrooms and inventory levels, including cycle counts and reconciliations Order and track laboratory supplies and materials, including lot number tracking Monitor and maintain gas inventories Work directly with vendors to coordinate equipment maintenance, calibration, and repairs Track equipment service agreements and maintain related documentation Requirements High School Diploma required (Associate or Bachelor’s degree a plus) Experience with inventory, stockroom operations, receiving, materials handling, warehouse support, or a similar environment Comfortable using Excel to track inventory, update logs, and perform reconciliations Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Comfortable with a role that combines hands-on materials support with computer/administrative responsibilities System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
