Job Description
Job Opportunity Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist with a strong background in the assessment and treatment of pediatric patients who face feeding and eating difficulties. This position includes the potential for providing general developmental occupational therapy for pediatric patients. Shift Schedule Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (08:00 AM - 06:30 PM)
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
- Off on Wednesday
- Assess and treat pediatric patients with various feeding difficulties including Pediatric Feeding Disorder, Oral Aversion, Dysphagia, ARFID, and more.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care to patients.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with clinical standards.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding feeding practices and interventions.
- Must possess a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited program, or a Bachelor's degree if graduated prior to 2004.
- At least 1.5 years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy, specifically in addressing feeding/eating difficulties.
- California OT License or eligibility to obtain one.
- National Certifications: BLS and NBCOT required.
- Experience working with pediatric patients aged 18 months and older is required; experience with patients 8 months and older is preferred.
