Floor Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental services, particularly in floor care within a healthcare environment. This role involves various duties related to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor maintenance tasks including cleaning, buffing, and waxing.
• Ensure that all floor care equipment is maintained and in working order.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of experience in environmental services within a healthcare setting.
• Specific experience in floor care preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Schedule

This position is a night shift role, requiring flexibility to work weekends as needed.

Other Requirements

Candidates must complete an occupational health appointment, including a physical examination, fit test, and TB screening, prior to starting the position.
