Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary tests, and crafting tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses in collaboration with physicians or independently, based on credentialing
• Guiding patients and families in prevention strategies, wellness, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies within the scope of your practice

• Accurately documenting patient information within electronic medical records (EMR)

What You Will Need

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Credentials Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
• National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days)
