Step into a meaningful role supporting students across a dynamic school district in Southwest Florida. This full-time contract opportunity offers variety and professional growth for a Physical Therapist eager to serve students from Pre K through 12th grade. You'll collaborate with educators and staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans, making a real difference in student development. The position involves traveling between multiple schools within the district, allowing you to work with a diverse caseload and hone your expertise in a supportive educational environment.

Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Unrestricted Physical Therapist license from the Florida Department of Health
• Ability to complete state-required fingerprinting and credentialing (prior prints from another FL district may be transferable)
• Experience in school-based settings is preferred, but motivated new graduates with relevant pediatric or school rotation experience are welcome
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Willingness to travel between various schools within the district

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group physical therapy services to students from Pre K through 12th grade
• Conduct assessments and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain detailed documentation of interventions and progress
• Educate staff and families on exercises, safety, and advocacy for student mobility needs
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards
• Adapt treatment strategies to meet the needs of students across multiple school campuses

This school-based assignment runs from August through May, following the academic calendar, and offers a consistent weekday schedule of up to 37.5 hours per week. This is an in-person, onsite role—remote or virtual work arrangements are not available.
