**Join Our Dynamic Labor and Delivery Nursing Team!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery - **Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) - **Experience Required:** Minimum 2 years (3 years preferred) - **Charting System:** Epic (Required) - **Trauma Level:** II Experience Preferred **Certifications:** - Required: - ACLS - AWHONN Intermediate - BLS - NRP - Preferred: - AWHONN Advanced **Essential Skills:** - IV Therapy/Phlebotomy - Starting and maintaining IVs - Use of infusion pumps/drips/IV monitoring - Labor and Delivery Management - Assist with high-risk deliveries and vaginal deliveries - Circulate for C-sections - Medication & Administration - Anticoagulation therapy - Magnesium Sulfate therapy - Pitocin (oxytocin) - Neonatal Care - APGAR scoring - Neonatal Resuscitation - Postpartum Care and Procedures - Breastfeeding support - Wound assessment/care - Pain Management - Epidural Anesthesia - Use of PCA (IV) **Work Environment:** - Float Required: Yes (Postpartum) - Interdisciplinary Support from various services - Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Adults - Ratios: 1:3 - Orientation: 36 hours - Weekend Shifts: As per unit needs **Other Information:** - RTO: Must be included at time of submission - Guaranteed Hours: Facility can call off once per two-week pay period **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
