Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid state Special Education Teaching certification
• Experience working in K-8 school settings preferred
• Strong grasp of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet a range of learning styles and needs
• Collaborative approach when working with teachers, families, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s strengths and challenges
• Deliver engaging instruction in both inclusive and resource settings
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Maintain ongoing communication with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
• Support classroom teachers with strategies and resources for students with special needs
